The Full-Time Total Direct Delivery Local Driver position is responsible for transporting popular products to local destinations. A key component of PepsiCo's success, Frito-Lay has been making the very best snacks for over 80 years, including Classic Lay's®, Cheetos®, and Doritos®. In this role, you will unload products, place them onto carts or pallets, and deliver them via a 53’ trailer in compliance with Federal Motor Carrier Safety Regulations. You can expect to work 40 to 45 hours per week, including holidays and weekends, with start times varying by route. All routes are local with no layovers. Local Total Direct Delivery drivers are responsible for pre- and post-trip truck inspections, maintaining driver’s daily logs, delivering products, checking them in at customer locations, obtaining signatures of receipt, picking up returns and cardboard, and completing related paperwork. This is a physically demanding job, particularly during extreme weather conditions. You will be required to move boxes of chips weighing up to 50 pounds, the equivalent of carrying 6 gallons of water. Sometimes, this includes handling dead stack products, where cases are stacked from the floor to the ceiling of the trailer.If you are a hard worker, you'll fit right in with our diverse team. The Full-Time Total Direct Delivery Local Driver position is responsible for transporting popular products to local destinations. A key component of PepsiCo's success, Frito-Lay has been making the very best snacks for over 80 years, including Classic Lay's , Cheetos , and Doritos . In this role, you will unload products, place them onto carts or pallets, and deliver them via a 53' trailer in compliance with Federal Motor Carrier Safety Regulations. You can expect to work 40 to 45 hours per week, including holidays and weekends, with start times varying by route. All routes are local with no layovers. Local Total Direct Delivery drivers are responsible for pre- and post-trip truck inspections, maintaining driver's daily logs, delivering products, checking them in at customer locations, obtaining signatures of receipt, picking up returns and cardboard, and completing related paperwork. This is a physically demanding job, particularly during extreme weather conditions. You will be required to move boxes of chips weighing up to 50 pounds, the equivalent of carrying 6 gallons of water.
