As a Behavior Coordinator, you will provide clinical and educational support for individual students, responsible for educational/clinical trainings and measuring individual staff performance and is the chief quality assurance agent of the educational/clinical programs assuring compliance with laws, regulations, and internal standards for educational and behavioral services. Responsibilities Include:Providing training and support to Education Coordinators and Teachers in the development of Functional Analysis Assessments and Behavior Intervention Plans.Monitoring the quality of student academics and behavioral services.Providing support to Education Coordinators in effective teaching practices so that students are able to progress in accordance with the IEP.Assessing the school staff development needs, researches, and designs training programs based on those needs.Participating in staff development through conferences, trainings, and seminars to maintain and develop core competencies.Training and certifying staff in the implementation of CPI principles while also providing ongoing coaching and support in the use of CPI principlesAssisting in the hiring, orientation, and training of Education Coordinators.Researching and makes recommendations for the use of evidence-based curricula in the classrooms that meet the requirements set forth by the Department of Education.Developing and monitoring systems designed to meet the needs of individual students, classrooms, and the site as a whole.Developing strategies for fading students from 1:1 staffing ratios to small group staffing ratios.Attending and participating in all required meetings including Senior Clinician Meeting, Site Team Meeting, All staff Meetings, etc.Conducting regular quality assurance checks at the individual student, staff, classroom, and site level to make recommendations for improvementEnsuring compliance with the Department of Education regulations, and Spectrum Center s internal standards.Performing other duties as assigned. Qualifications Required:Master's degree or higher in behavioral science, psychology, or related field.Special education certification preferred.BCBA license preferred.Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from groups of staff members, students, parents, customers, and the general public.Advanced skills in working with staff and students with diverse needs at various levels.Knowledge and understanding of state and/or national content standards.Knowledge of relevant technology including experience with instructional technology, Microsoft Office Suite, database entry and basic office equipment. PM24ResponsibilitiesThe Intensive Home-Based Therapeutic Care program provide services for youth with emotional challenges and/or multistressed families. The scope of services includes flexible individualized treatment, rehabilitation, supervision, and support that vary in intensity, depending on youth and family needs. The services are delivered by a core team of staff using a Wraparound Philosophy support which helps family, support members, and service providers work together to support the family or child. In addition, all services are delivered using a Trauma Informed Care approach. The Outreach Counselor will provide an average of three to four hours of direct support weekly to each assigned family. Services will be tailored to meet the unique needs of each youth and family served, providing opportunity to maximize their ability to spend time together at home and in the community. Responsibilities include: To provide advocacy and outreach services to assigned caseload of youth and their families, in individual or family's home and community To monitor Individual Treatment Plans (ITPs) for all youth and families that supports their capacity for growth and change To establish and set appropriate limits and boundaries as a practitioner in order to assure the safety and protection of the family members and maintain the helping role of the practitioner To provide support and structure to individual and families while monitoring their progress towards completion of service goals To transport individuals in a safe manner in matters related to service delivery To provide on-call emergency coverage as assignedQualificationsHigh School Diploma or equivalent.
