We are looking for someone with hospitality experience, high energy and the passion to contribute to the continued success of our luxury property.The Club operates 24 hours a day and 7 days a week, so operational demands require variations in shift days, starting and ending times, and hours worked in a week.**The ideal candidate for this role must have painting & basic maintenance skills, and be available to work mornings, evenings and weekends**This is a full-time, hourly position with a competitive compensation of $19 to $20 per hour, paid biweekly. In addition to competitive pay, our employees also have access to health insurance, and opportunities for advancement within the company.General RequirementsMaintains and makes general repairs to the plumbing fixtures, furniture, woodwork, electrical systems, appliances, elevators, ventilation systems and building structures of the club. Maintains the air conditioning, refrigerators, ice makers and pool pumps.Paint all interior and exterior surfaces of the club's buildings and facilities.Repair and maintain drywall, plaster, and wood surfaces as needed.Prepare surfaces for painting by cleaning, filling holes, and sanding.Respond to maintenance requests in a timely manner.Supervises the filtration and chlorination of swimming pool, tests swimming pool water; and maintains daily log of water test results for local health department inspections.Performs routine preventive maintenance (PM) required by club’s PM procedures.Installs tile, drywall; makes grouting repairs, patches walls and paves brick. Repairs small motors.Completes other appropriate assignments made by the Repair and Maintenance Manager. Education and Experience:High school diploma or equivalent.At least 2 years of experience as a painter and general maintenance tasks in a hospitality/restaurant setting.Excellent painting and drywall repair skills.Strong attention to detail and ability to produce high-quality work.Basic knowledge of plumbing, electrical, HVAC systems, power tools, minor repairs on outlets, lamps and plumbing fixtures.
