Staff work to ensure consumer-directed goal setting, assist the individual served to gain hope and a sense of empowerment, and provide assistance in helping the individuals served become respected and valued members of their family and community.Per Diem/Standby Support Staff are required to work a minimum of 4 shifts/month, which may be a combination of shifts worked and standby shifts based upon the needs of the programs. Standby shifts are scheduled starting on Friday evenings (10pm) through Sunday evenings (10:30pm), and the shifts include day (from 7:30am-10:30pm) and overnight (10pm-8am). Additionally, there are six recognized holidays (New Year's Day, Memorial Day, 4th of July, Labor Day, Thanksgiving, and Christmas) that will also be staffed with standby.
